Birthday wishes appear around the design in several languages, including French, Dutch, Italian, Danish and Greek.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a particularly charming piece of Stratton design and one that is very rarely encountered, making it an appealing addition to a serious compact collection as well as a rather fabulous vintage birthday gift.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe gold-tone case measures approximately 7.5 cm in diameter. Inside is the original clear mirror, powder well and Stratton inner lid, together with the original powder sifter. The reverse has Stratton’s finely engine-turned concentric decoration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in excellent vintage condition, particularly considering its age. The enamel decoration remains beautifully bright and detailed, with only minor storage wear to the compact overall.
