Particularly lovely is the survival of both the original shaped sifter and matching pink Pygmalion Sonata powder puff – pieces which are so often missing from these compacts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inner powder lid is beautifully decorated and clearly marked “Pygmalion”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA charming and ingenious piece of mid-century vanity design and one of Pygmalion’s most recognisable novelty compacts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe compact remains in lovely vintage condition overall, with age-related wear to the finish and some deterioration to one area of the mirror, clearly shown in the photographs.
