The shifting pearly tones catch the light beautifully against the warm gold-tone case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside is a large bevelled mirror together with the original powder compartment, complete with its pretty pink Clover-branded puff and sifter. Beneath the powder section sits the integral musical movement, operated by the winding control inside the compact.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe musical mechanism is in full working order and plays clearly, although to my ear the melody plays a little faster than might be expected. This has therefore been mentioned for complete accuracy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe compact itself presents beautifully and appears unused, with the original accessories still exceptionally clean.
