It has a pleasingly compact, softly rounded shape and a silver-tone frame.

Inside is the original powder puff and the original paper instruction disc explaining the tap-flap powder tray. The inner tray is marked “Patented Gwenda Made in England”, and the compact measures approximately 7 x 5.5 cm.

The floral cover presents well, with general age-related wear to the metal finish. The mirror has several substantial rust marks, as shown, and is no longer clear enough for practical use. The compact still retains its original puff and instructions, which are lovely details to find together. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
