The movement plays beautifully, while the interior carries the Kigu Minuette branding and the mechanism retains its original Thorens label.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOpening the compact reveals a beautifully detailed gilt interior with oval mirror, separate musical mechanism and covered powder compartment, complete with its original sifter. The compact measures approximately 8.5 cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom my personal collection, this is in excellent vintage condition throughout. The ornate gilt decoration remains beautifully crisp and bright, with only a small amount of gilt loss to the bevel surrounding the mirror and very light age-related surface wear.
