Both pieces are finished in glossy white with rich red carnation flowers, green foliage and slender stems, framed by polished gold-tone rims and bases. The fresh floral design has a particularly appealing mid-century look, while the compact’s star-patterned textured reverse carries the central Stratton mark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe compact measures 7.5cm in diameter and retains its circular mirror, clean powder well and Stratton paper insert. It is accompanied by its pale pink powder puff, printed in gold with “Stratton Made in England”. The matching 6cm lipstick holder retains its red paper insert marked “The Stratton Lipstick Holder Made in England”, with Stratton No. 2 marked to the base. Both pieces are presented in their original Stratton patterned presentation box with white satin-style lining, together with two black protective pouches and the original paper inserts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis set is new and unused, presenting in excellent vintage condition with bright floral decoration and polished gold-tone finishes. The presentation box has light storage wear commensurate with age, but remains a very attractive accompaniment.
