A vintage Kigu cigarette case, made in England and dating from approximately the 1950s.

The gold-tone metal case has finely worked engine turning with a stylised bow motif incorporated into the design.

Measuring approximately 9 cm long and 3 cm deep, it has a compact format and opens to reveal a clean metal interior.

The engine-turned decoration remains crisp, the case opens and closes correctly and the gold-tone finish has only light marks from previous handling.

The bow gives an otherwise geometric Kigu case a small decorative flourish without overwhelming the patterned metalwork.
