A small vintage Kigu pill box, dating from approximately the 1950s, with an abstract engine-turned pattern across its gold-tone metal case.
Measuring approximately 4.5 cm diameter, it is one of Kigu’s smaller personal accessories rather than a powder compact, designed as a neat little handbag or pocket-sized container.
The opening and closing mechanism remains secure.
This example is in more obviously used condition than many of our Kigu pieces, with visible tarnishing and several small red marks to the finish, all reflected in the price.
The geometric engine turning still catches the light beautifully and gives an otherwise simple little box plenty of character.
