Vintage Kigu Teal Blue Gold-Tone Powder Compact & Perfume Atomiser Set, Boxed, London

A beautiful vintage Kigu of London matching vanity set, comprising a powder compact and perfume atomiser in a striking teal blue and gold-tone finish, presented together in their original fitted Kigu box.

The powder compact has a wonderfully rich teal blue finish with a subtle radiating effect beneath the surface. A broad gold-tone circular border decorates the lid, creating a simple but very elegant mid-century design.

Opening the compact reveals an exceptionally clean interior with a clear mirror, powder compartment and original powder puff. The gold-tone fittings remain bright and attractive, and the compact presents beautifully both inside and out.

The matching perfume atomiser repeats the same teal blue and gold-tone colour scheme, with gold-tone fittings and decorative bands around the body. It is finished with a vivid blue cabochon-style top, which complements the colour of the compact particularly well.

Both pieces are presented in the original fitted case, with the Kigu of London name displayed inside the lid. The survival of the matching compact, atomiser and original presentation box together makes this a particularly attractive vintage Kigu vanity set.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The compact is exceptionally clean and the teal and gold-tone finish presents beautifully. The interior is also remarkably clean, retaining its original powder puff. The matching atomiser presents very well with light signs of age and storage. The original Kigu presentation box is also included.
