A gorgeous Stratton Convertible powder compact featuring a classic white rose and bud hand-painted over rich blue enamel, set in a gold-tone engine-turned metal case. This mid-century English design includes the signature convertible cut-out on the back indicating the removable insert mechanism — a desirable feature for collectors and vintage vanity enthusiasts.

Dating to the 1950s–early 1960s, this compact exemplifies Stratton’s post-war craftsmanship and decorative style. The deep cobalt enamel provides a striking backdrop for the delicate floral motif, while the gold engine turning around the sides catches the light beautifully. Marked “Stratton Made in England” on the base, it retains the original mirror inside.
