A vintage Stratton Lip-View, made in England and dating from approximately the late 1950s to early 1960s.
The gold-tone case is decorated with a warm orange floral enamel design, edged with black and gold detailing.
Measuring approximately 6 cm, it combines Stratton’s folding mirror with its integral lipstick holder, allowing both to be carried together in one small handbag accessory.
The enamel remains bright and crisp, the mirror is clear and the mechanism works correctly. There is only light evidence of previous handling.
A colourful example of Stratton’s Lip-View design, with the orange, black and gold decoration giving it a much stronger appearance than the maker’s paler floral versions.
