Stratton Lip-View Lipstick Compact – Vintage 1950s Enamel Floral Design – Gold Tone Mirror Lid – 6cm
A vintage Stratton “Lip-View” lipstick compact, made in England circa late 1950s to early 1960s. This elegant mid-century design was created to hold a standard lipstick and features Stratton’s clever viewing windows to the barrel, allowing the shade to be seen without opening.
The lid is beautifully decorated with a floral enamel design in warm orange tones, framed by black and gold detailing. The interior lid contains a fitted mirror, making it both practical and stylish for handbag use. The gold tone remains bright and well preserved, and the enamel is crisp and vibrant.
