A particularly well-preserved vintage Stratton powder compact with floral decoration and an attractive scalloped-edge gold-tone case.
Measuring approximately 8.5 cm diameter, the shaped outer edge gives the compact a softer, more decorative profile than Stratton’s standard round cases, while the floral lid provides the central decoration.
Inside are the original mirror and powder fittings, including the protective mesh.
Importantly, this example is unused, so any minor marks present are from age and storage rather than normal cosmetic use.
The combination of its generous size, scalloped case and unused condition makes this a particularly pleasing example of Stratton’s traditional floral production.
