A beautiful Stratton powder compact in bright gold-tone metal, distinguished by its wonderfully decorative lid of raised romantic words. Romance, Pleasure, Obsession, Lust, Love, Desire, Passion, Attraction and Kiss flow across the soft satin-gold ground in varied scripts, with the Stratton name incorporated into the design. The result is an unusual and glamorous all-over typographic pattern, full of late-vintage charm.
Measuring 7cm across, this round compact has a highly polished rim and a textured basketweave reverse centred with the Stratton script mark. Inside is a clear circular mirror, together with a finely striped, Stratton-marked metal powder cover decorated with tiny repeating motifs, making it an especially lovely gift piece.
