A beautiful vintage Contessa convertible powder compact, made in Switzerland and presented in exceptional unused condition.
Measuring approximately 7.5cm across, the silver-plated compact features an elegant finely textured finish with a polished central cartouche.
Inside is a beautifully clear mirror together with the original powder fittings, sifter and lovely peach-pink Contessa branded powder puff. Designed as a convertible compact, it could be used with different forms of powder.
This wonderful example appears unused and comes complete with its original protective pouch and Contessa presentation box. The compact itself is exceptionally clean, while the outer box shows storage wear and age, as photographed.
