The vivid foil lid is the real joy of this oval Gwenda Tap-Flap compact, showing a charming lady in a pink crinoline dress among bright garden flowers and deep blue trees. It has a wonderfully colourful storybook feel, with the foil still looking fresh and lively.
Measuring approximately 8 x 6 cm, this is a neat oval English compact with a silver-tone frame, mirror and powder well. The original powder puff is still present, a lovely detail to find with this type of compact. The interior is marked “Tap-Flap Gwenda Regd Made in England”.
In lovely condition for its age, with no chips or losses to the decorative foil lid noted. There is gentle age-related wear to the metal interior and the original puff, as expected of a used vintage piece. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
