The deep blue enamel lid gives this Kigu Concerto musical compact a wonderfully rich look, set into a substantial gold-tone case with a softly scalloped edge. It is a proper little piece of vintage vanity engineering too: the musical mechanism plays well, although the tune is unknown.
Measuring approximately 8.5 x 7 cm, it has a clear mirror, a separate covered powder well and its mesh sifter still in place. The interior carries the Kigu mark, with further Kigu branding to the reverse.
It is in excellent overall condition, with the main point to note being areas of enamel loss to the blue lid, as shown and reflected in the price. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
