A vintage Kigu powder compact, made in England and dating from approximately the 1950s to early 1960s.
Measuring approximately 6.5 cm diameter, the gold-tone case is decorated with concentric engine turning and a fine radiating wave pattern.
The reverse continues the circular patterned finish.
Inside are the original mirror and inner powder lid.
There are light marks from previous use and handling, but the patterned metalwork remains well defined and the interior fittings are intact.
A straightforward, well-made mid-century Kigu whose decoration comes entirely from the precision of its engine-turned gold-tone case.
