Vintage Kigu of London Gold Powder Compact – Starburst Design – Boxed Complete 8cm

A beautiful vintage Kigu of London powder compact, dating to around the late 1950s to early 1960s.

This elegant 8cm circular compact has a warm gold-tone finish with a finely brushed radial design, centred with a striking multi-point starburst motif. The reverse is beautifully engine turned with an intricate concentric pattern.

The compact opens to reveal a clear mirror and powder compartment and is wonderfully complete with its Kigu branded puff, original Kigu Plus sifter, black protective pouch and period Kigu presentation box.

The compact itself is in lovely vintage condition with a particularly attractive bright finish. The presentation box shows age-related wear, rubbing and marks as pictured, but it is wonderful to find the compact retaining so many of its original accessories.

A very attractive and unusually complete example of a classic mid-century Kigu compact, ideal for a collector or as a special vintage gift.
