This vintage Kigu of London powder compact has a beautifully detailed raised filigree rose applied to its brushed gold-tone lid.
Measuring approximately 8 cm diameter, the round case opens to reveal its original mirror and gold-tone powder well.
Importantly, it remains with both its original Kigu presentation box and protective pouch, making this a particularly complete surviving example.
The compact is in excellent vintage condition. The gold-tone finish remains bright, the delicate openwork rose is intact and lustrous, the mirror is clear and both hinge and clasp operate smoothly.
The filigree decoration gives the rose an almost jewellery-like quality, with the brushed background allowing the raised petals to stand out beautifully.
