This vintage Kigu of London powder compact has a wonderfully strong geometric design, with crisp chevrons radiating across its softly squared gold-tone case.
Made in England, it measures approximately 8 cm across and is marked Kigu of London, Made in England.
Inside, it remains particularly complete with its original mirror, Kigu-branded powder puff and mesh sifter still present.
The gold-tone finish remains bright, the mirror is clear and both the hinge and clasp operate correctly.
The bold chevron pattern gives this Kigu a much more graphic appearance than the maker’s familiar floral compacts, relying entirely on texture, geometry and the way the engine turning catches the light.
