A charming vintage Kigu pill box, made in England and dating to approximately the 1950s.
The circular gold-tone case is topped with a rich deep-blue enamel panel decorated with three flying ducks, a classic mid-century motif. The blue enamel provides a striking contrast against the warm gold-tone metal, while the reverse is finished with finely engine-turned decoration.
Measuring approximately 4 cm across, this is one of Kigu’s smaller vanity accessories and has a neat, beautifully made feel.
The interior is clean and bright, and the box opens and closes correctly.
Condition is excellent vintage overall. The blue enamel remains glossy and attractive with no notable damage, while the gold-tone metal shows only light signs of age and handling. Please study the photographs, which form an important part of the condition description.
