Colourful butterflies among blue irises give this Kigu compact its real character, set against a warm gold-tone lid and framed by a generously scalloped edge. It is a lovely, substantial little piece with the Kigu triangular mark to the reverse and interior fittings.
Measuring 8.5 cm in diameter, it opens to a clear mirror and powder well with its mesh sifter in place. The original pink Kigu puff is included, complete with its branded ribbon, which is a very nice detail to find with the compact.
It is in very good vintage condition, with minor age-related surface marks visible on close inspection but a bright, attractive finish overall. The clasp, mirror, sifter and puff are all present as photographed. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
