A glowing opal-effect cabochon sits at the centre of this striking Kigu compact, framed by two rows of clear and aqua-blue rhinestones. The textured gold-tone lid and deep scalloped edge give it a wonderfully substantial, glamorous look.
Measuring approximately 8.5 cm by 7 cm, this is a generous oval powder compact with a clean mirror, its original peach-coloured powder puff and mesh sifter still in place. The interior is marked "Patented" and "Made in England", while the reverse carries the Kigu maker's mark.
