Vintage Liberty of London Stratton Powder Compact: St George Clock, Original Box
A beautiful Liberty of London edition Stratton “Convertible” powder compact, Made in England, c. 1950s–60s.
The lid features the Liberty clock with St George and the Dragon, encircled by the line “No minute gone comes ever back again. Take heed and do not slack again.”
It comes with its original pink Stratton puff, mesh sifter/retaining ring, instruction disc and black velveteen slip. The Liberty poem is printed on the outside of the box.

Very good vintage condition. Lid artwork is bright and clean. Light age “blooming” speckle to the mirror typical of Stratton compacts; hinge and clasp secure.
