A vintage Lourdes souvenir powder compact with a rich red enamel lid featuring a detailed gold-tone view of the Basilica.
The central scene is surrounded by a laurel wreath with small red accents, with the crowned initials ND beneath. Ribbed gold-tone metal forms the sides of the case, while the reverse is plain.
Approximately 7 cm diameter, the compact is likely a French souvenir piece.
Inside are a clear mirror and gold-tone powder well. The original puff and sifter are no longer present.
The red enamel has some small surface marks, the metal case has a few minor dings and the mirror shows light marking. Both hinge and clasp remain secure.
