An unmarked vintage powder compact measuring approximately 7 x 6 cm, with a square marbled lucite top in pearly cream and soft grey tones. The cover is decorated with stylised black spiders, their raised gold-tone bodies set amongst glittering gold web-like lines.
The case is gold-tone metal with a push-button clasp and a plain brushed gold-tone reverse. Inside, the hinged lid holds a rectangular mirror, while the lower powder well retains its mesh sifter and puff.
This compact is unused and in excellent vintage condition. The lucite top, spider decoration, clasp, hinge, mirror, mesh sifter and puff are all present as shown. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
