A vintage Mascot powder compact featuring a rich navy-blue enamel lid with a delicate central floral motif in soft blue and pastel shades.
The 7.5 cm circular case is framed in warm gold tone, while the reverse is decorated with a concentric engine-turned pattern.
Opening the compact reveals a particularly complete interior retaining its original mirror, powder sifter and Mascot powder puff.
Condition is good vintage overall. The enamel remains attractive and the interior is clean, with light age-related wear to the gold-tone finish. There is some spotting and marking to the mirror, shown clearly in the photographs. The compact opens and closes correctly.
