A beautiful vintage Melissa powder compact decorated with a wonderfully romantic spray of deep red roses and green foliage against a soft cream background.
The compact has an elegant shaped square form with a gold-tone case and textured reverse. Measuring approximately 7.5cm across, it opens to reveal a full mirror and powder compartment with inner cover.
The floral decoration remains wonderfully bright and detailed, and the compact presents very well overall. There are some small signs of vintage use, including light marks to the powder well, as shown in the photographs.
