A beautiful unused vintage Melissa “Super Slim” powder compact, made in England and wonderfully complete with its original presentation box, protective pouch, Melissa powder puff and sifter.
Measuring approximately 7cm across, the compact has a warm gold-tone finish with an intricate engine-turned woven design radiating across the lid, centred by a polished circular detail. The reverse is decorated with a contrasting fine cross-hatched pattern.
Inside, the compact remains exceptionally clean and unused, retaining its original Melissa-branded powder puff and printed sifter. The mirror is beautifully clear and the original fittings remain bright and well preserved.
Presented in its fabulous original Melissa box with crown logo, together with its protective pouch, this is a particularly lovely complete example and a real little time capsule.
