A pretty unbranded powder compact, likely dating from the 1960s, with an iridescent mosaic of rectangular mother of pearl pieces set into a cream enamel surround. The warm gold-tone fittings complement the softly coloured enamel, while the plain cream enamel back keeps the design nicely balanced.
Measuring approximately 7cm across, this round compact has a mirror inside and a covered powder well, together with a pale pink powder puff with satin finger ribbon.
It is in very good vintage condition overall. The mother of pearl mosaic has lovely natural variation in colour and sheen. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
