An ingenious vintage Art Deco combination powder compact and cigarette case, bringing two handbag accessories together within one silver-coloured metal case.
Measuring approximately 8 x 8 x 1 cm, the square case has two separate release buttons, allowing each compartment to be opened independently.
One side contains the powder compartment and retains its original powder sifter and puff. The opposite side opens to reveal the separate cigarette compartment.
The original mirror is missing from the powder side, which is an important condition point and has been reflected in the price.
Otherwise, the piece retains its original internal fittings and the unusual dual-compartment construction that makes these multi-purpose Art Deco accessories so interesting.
