This beautiful vintage Stratton powder compact has a bright gold-tone finish with a delicate butterfly as the focal point of the lid. It is wonderfully clean and, most importantly, appears never to have been used.
Open it and that becomes even clearer: the mirror and powder interior remain pristine, without the cosmetic residue normally found in a compact that has lived in somebody’s handbag.
The snap closure works correctly and the compact is accompanied by its original Stratton presentation box — always a lovely bonus, particularly when the compact itself has survived in such exceptional condition.
