A striking Stratton cigarette case, likely dating from the 1950s, with a deep blue decorative panel showing five pink flamingos standing in water. The scene is framed by shaped gold-tone metal, while the back has an all-over linear engine-turned finish.
Measuring 10cm, the case is fitted inside with two gold-tone lined sections and a sprung retaining bar for cigarettes. The central bar is marked Stratton and Made in England. A red pouch is included, although it is not original to this particular case.
There is visible surface scratching and wear to the blue flamingo panel, with tarnish, rubbing and marks to the gilt-tone metal on the back and interior. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the condition description.
