A vintage Stratton powder compact featuring the charming “Wedding Bouquet” floral design.
The ivory-toned lid is decorated with a delicate arrangement of pastel flowers tied with ribbon, framed by Stratton’s classic gold-tone case. The soft colouring and bouquet motif give this example a particularly pretty mid-century appearance.
Opening the compact reveals the original mirror and powder compartment.
Condition is good vintage overall. The decorated lid presents well and the interior remains clean, with a clear mirror. There is age-related wear to the gold-tone finish and more noticeable wear to the reverse of the case, all of which is shown clearly in the photographs and reflected in the price. The hinge and clasp operate correctly.
