A smart vintage Stratton powder compact, made in England and finished with a rich deep-green enamel lid.
The enamel has a subtle marbled appearance which gives the colour depth and variation as it catches the light, framed by Stratton’s classic gold-tone case.
Opening the compact reveals the original mirror, powder well and Stratton powder puff.
Condition is good vintage overall. The green enamel remains glossy and vibrant, with light age-related wear to the surrounding gold-tone metal. There is some minor fogging to the mirror, visible in the photographs, although it remains usable. The hinge and clasp operate correctly and the compact closes securely.
