A beautiful vintage Stratton Lip-View compact featuring a colourful floral design on crisp white enamel, framed with rich cobalt blue and gold detailing. The ornate shaped case gives this little piece a particularly pretty, almost porcelain-like appearance.
Measuring approximately 6cm (2.36”) across, the compact opens to reveal Stratton’s clever Lip-View design, with an adjustable mirror that can be raised and supported for hands-free use when applying lipstick or make-up.
The gold-tone fittings remain bright and attractive and the mirror is clear and usable. A lovely example of one of Stratton’s more ingenious vanity designs, equally charming for use, display or a vintage dressing-table collection.
