A stunning vintage Stratton Lipstick Empress compact, beautifully finished with a genuine mother of pearl checkerboard lid that shimmers with beautiful iridescent colours. Combining timeless elegance with practical design, this sought-after vanity compact features an integrated lipstick holder, making it one of Stratton’s most desirable mid-century creations.

Inside, the compact is fitted with Stratton’s patented Compact-in-Hand mechanism, allowing the inner powder door to open automatically as the mirror is gently tilted back. It retains the original powder sifter, Stratton puff and lipstick tube, adding to both its authenticity and collectability.

The reverse is decorated with an ornate engine-turned scroll pattern, while the interior features a bright mirror and beautifully finished gilt metal throughout. The compact closes securely and presents beautifully with only light age-related wear consistent with careful vintage use.
