A vintage Stratton Lip-View with a rich oxblood-red marbled finish.

Made in England and dating from the mid-20th century, it measures approximately 6 cm across and combines Stratton’s folding mirror with its integrated lipstick holder.

The dark red and brown marbled top has considerable tonal variation, framed by the gold-tone metal case.

The mirror remains clear, with a little residue visible around the corners, and the mechanism operates correctly. There are small surface marks to the marbled finish from previous use but no major chips or damage.

The deep oxblood colouring makes this a particularly smart Lip-View, with a much more restrained appearance than Stratton’s brightly coloured floral enamel versions.
