A vintage Stratton Lip-View with a white floral enamel design, still accompanied by its original box.
The circular case opens to form a small upright lipstick mirror, while Stratton’s metal clip holds the lipstick alongside it. It was a clever alternative to carrying a separate lipstick case and handbag mirror.
The pale enamelled decoration is patterned with flowers against white, framed by the gold-tone metal case.
The mirror, folding mechanism and lipstick holder remain present, and the original Stratton box has also survived.
There are minor marks associated with age and storage to both the Lip-View and packaging, but the white floral decoration remains attractive.
The original box is a worthwhile addition here: these small accessories were designed to be carried and used, so the packaging was very easily discarded.
