A striking vintage Stratton Lipview compact mirror, featuring a beautiful rich teal blue enamel front decorated with an elegant black and gold abstract thorn-like design.
The classic Lipview design opens to reveal a clear mirror, with the ingenious integral lipstick holder allowing the mirror to stand upright for lipstick application. Made in England by Stratton, one of the most celebrated names in vintage British vanity accessories.
This example remains in lovely vintage condition with only minor signs of previous use. The enamel is wonderfully vibrant and the gold-tone metal retains a lovely bright finish. The hinge and mechanism function as intended.
