Vintage Stratton Pekingese Powder Compact England 7cm Enamel Dog Compact With Original Puff & Sifter

A charming vintage Stratton powder compact featuring a beautifully detailed portrait of a Pekingese dog, signed by the artist K. Bannister. The expressive artwork is set against a soft grey background and framed by a warm gilt-tone compact, creating a piece that will appeal to both Stratton collectors and dog lovers alike.

Inside, the compact retains its original mirror, powder well, sifter and Stratton puff. The familiar Stratton engine-turned detailing and early script logo are present, helping to date the piece to the mid-20th century. The reverse features an elegant concentric engine-turned pattern which catches the light beautifully.
