A beautiful vintage Stratton powder compact featuring a wonderfully romantic design of a deep purple butterfly resting amongst soft pink roses and green foliage.
The floral scene is set against a crisp white background with a delicate pale green circular border, framed by polished gold-tone metal. The reverse has Stratton’s classic finely textured finish and is clearly marked Stratton Made in England.
Inside is a large clear mirror, powder well and sifter, together with its Stratton branded powder puff. The compact measures approximately 7.5cm in diameter.
It remains in lovely vintage condition overall, with light surface marks and minor age-related wear consistent with its age. The decorative panel remains bright and colourful, the interior is clean and the mirror remains clear and usable.
