A classic vintage Stratton powder compact featuring a Greek key border surrounding a softly textured satin gold-tone centre.
Made in England, the round compact has a restrained geometric design, with the repeating Greek key motif providing a decorative frame without overwhelming the simple central panel.
The reverse carries fine engine-turned decoration together with the Stratton England signature panel.
Opening the compact reveals its original mirror and powder compartment. The mirror remains clear and usable and the compact closes securely.
Condition is good vintage overall, with light age-related wear to the interior and exterior consistent with previous handling and use. Please refer to the photographs for condition.
