A vintage Stratton powder compact in silver-tone metal, with crisp engine turning and a blank rectangular cartouche.
Made in England and dating from approximately the late 1950s to early 1960s, the square compact measures around 7 x 7 cm.
Inside are the original clear mirror, Stratton sifter and branded pink powder puff, and the compact also retains its original protective pouch.
The interior is exceptionally clean with no visible powder residue and the compact appears unused. The silver-tone finish remains bright with only minor storage marks.
The blank cartouche gives the otherwise geometric design a clean, tailored appearance and could originally have been engraved with initials.
