A stunning vintage Stratton powder compact in a beautifully detailed two-tone finish, with a scalloped octagonal silhouette that gives it a distinctly Art Deco-style elegance. Warm gold-tone scrolling decoration frames the silvery central panel, which has a finely textured concentric pattern that catches the light most attractively.
At the centre, the clasp forms a particularly striking focal point, set with a row of vivid blue rectangular stones in dark-toned decorative metalwork. The reverse is finished in crisp horizontal gold-tone ribbing. Measuring 7.5cm across, the compact opens to reveal a mirror and Stratton-marked gold-tone powder well, complete with its removable mesh sifter edged in soft pink velvet and fitted with a small lifting tab. It is supplied with a black pouch.
