A vintage Kigu rectangular powder compact with strong Art Deco-influenced geometric styling and a central blank cartouche.
Measuring approximately 7.5 cm, its rectangular proportions give it a noticeably sharper, more architectural appearance than Kigu’s familiar round and floral compacts.
The blank cartouche was designed to provide a focal point within the patterned gold-tone case and also gives the piece the appearance of something that could have been personalised.
Inside are the original mirror, powder compartment and sifter.
There are marks and light surface wear from previous handling, but the geometric decoration remains clear and the original internal fittings are retained.
