Kigu Vintage Cigarette Case Black Enamel Gold Feather Leaf Barrel Case

A distinctive vintage Kigu cigarette case in an unusual curved barrel form, richly finished in glossy black enamel and warm gold-tone metal. The centrepiece is a beautifully detailed raised feather or leaf motif, its finely textured surface set with a line of small clear gems which sparkle prettily against the deep black ground.

Measuring approximately 7.5 x 3 cm, this is a particularly elegant little case with a sculptural, classically mid-century character. It opens through the centre to reveal two curved gold-tone interior panels, with attractive patterned detailing at the rounded ends. The combination of sleek black enamel, golden textured decoration and dimensional gem-set ornament gives this piece a glamorous, refined presence.

The case is in excellent preowned condition overall. The black enamel remains glossy and the decorative metalwork presents very well; one small clear gem is absent from the feather or leaf motif, and there are light surface marks inside consistent with age and use.
