Vintage 1930s Art Deco Gold Glitter Cigarette Case Early Plastic 8cm

A wonderfully glamorous vintage Art Deco cigarette case dating to around the 1930s, featuring shimmering gold glitter panels set within a gold-tone metal frame.

Measuring approximately 8 x 5 cm, the case has softly rounded corners and sparkling textured panels to both the front and back. The glitter appears to be contained within an early plastic-type material, creating a fabulous shimmering effect as it catches the light.

The interior retains its original gold elastic cigarette straps to both sides. The case opens and closes securely and no maker’s mark has been identified.

In good vintage condition with age-related wear, tarnishing and surface marking to the metal frame and interior, particularly around the edges, as shown in the photographs. The decorative glitter panels remain particularly attractive.
