Vintage 1950s Regent of London Powder Compact – Mustard Marbled Gold Medallion 7cm

A wonderfully unusual vintage Regent of London powder compact dating to the 1950s.

Measuring approximately 7 x 7cm, this rounded square compact features a striking mustard-yellow marbled front, centred with an applied decorative gold-tone medallion. The reverse is beautifully finished with an intricate engine-turned diamond lattice design with delicate dotted detailing.

Inside is a bright, clear mirror and a hinged powder compartment decorated with matching engine turning and bearing the Regent of London name. The powder well is revealed beneath.

The compact is in very good vintage condition, presenting beautifully both inside and out, with only light age-related wear and marks consistent with its age. Please see the photographs for the full condition.
