A wonderfully pretty vintage vanity pairing comprising a fabric-covered lipstick holder and embroidered handkerchief, both decorated with beautiful floral needlework.
The lipstick holder measures approximately 6 x 2 cm and is covered in black fabric embroidered with a charming pink and red rose design, finished with warm gold-tone fittings. The lower section pulls away to reveal the lipstick holder inside.
Accompanying it is a lovely black handkerchief with colourful hand-embroidered flowers in pink, red, purple, yellow and green. While I cannot confirm that the two pieces were originally sold together, their complementary styling and floral embroidery make them a particularly lovely pairing.
